Dear Lombard, Silas Willard, and Steele Families,

Due to the approaching weather forecast for this evening, tonight's parent-teacher conferences have been postponed to ensure the safety of our families and staff.

We are currently working to identify a new conference date later in March. As soon as the date is confirmed, we will share that information so families can reschedule their conference times.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. The safety of our students, families, and staff remains our top priority.

If you have a student entering Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year and are interested in them being screened for the Begindergarten Program, please contact Jodi Keever at Silas Willard Elementary School to set up a screening, 309-973-2015.
Begindergarten is a full-day program designed for children who meet the age requirements for kindergarten but may benefit from an additional year of growth before entering a traditional kindergarten classroom. The program provides a supportive learning environment where students strengthen academic foundations while developing social, emotional, and self-regulation skills needed for kindergarten success. #Thisis205

Silly string the principal referral reward this morning! Students who received no behavior referrals this week were given a chance to silly string the principal. Their names went on a wheel, and one student from each grade was chosen. What a fun way to end the week! #silaswildcats #thisis205
