Our kindergarten students got to release some energy while practicing their number recognition with a fun number game! When the teacher called out a number, students raced to be the first to find and slap the correct one before their classmates.

🏈 Football Game Expectations for Students
We want everyone to have a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience while supporting our athletes and attending home football games this fall. To help ensure the safety and well-being of our students, families, athletes, and fans, we ask all students to follow the expectations below:

✅ Students should remain in the stands during the game unless visiting the concession stand or restroom.
✅ No running, horseplay, or ball-playing in the stadium or the concession area.
✅ Respectful behavior is expected at all times towards peers, staff, officials, and guests.
✅ Students should follow directions from school personnel and security immediately.
✅ Students in grades K–8 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to enter the stadium.
✅ 5th- 8th grade students may sit with their families or in the designated school student section located in the northeast corner of the stadium (GJHS) or the north side of the home stands (Lombard). Elementary students must remain with their parents or guardians.

Thank you for your cooperation and for doing your part to make our home football games a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience for everyone. We appreciate your support of our students and athletes!

We are getting ready for the PACER test in Physical Education!

4th graders took on the Impossible Tower Challenge and quickly learned that building the tallest tower isn’t as easy as it looks! They worked together, tried new ideas, watched a few towers tumble, and learned that failure is just part of the process. 💪🧠

Lots of teamwork, problem-solving, perseverance, and plenty of laughs! ❤️

These kindergarten students are hungry..... for FINE MOTOR SKILLS! Making "Scissor Salad" was a fun way for these kindergarteners to practice their scissor skills as they created their salads with lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, and cheese! Yes please!!

What is one part of Bridges math 2nd grade students enjoy..... WORK PLACES! Work Places are a part of math instruction in all grades at King! In the early days of the new year, students explore the "math tools" (manipulatives) that will be used in the work places. These 2nd grade students have "math talk guides" at their groups to start math discussions!
