Galesburg High School Chemistry teacher Meghan McCrery took 14 students to Western Illinois University last week to tour the Chemistry and Biology departments. During the visit, students engaged in a soap-making lab, and later in the day they looked at a scanning electron microscope and examined cave specimens for organic matter.
