P/T Conferences - Thank you to those who took time out of their busy schedules to attend the parent/teacher conferences that were held on October 20th & 25th. We are confident that a joint partnership is the key to your student’s success in school. If you have any questions throughout the school year, please be sure to contact your son or daughters teacher.
Student Council is selling feathers. The grade level that sells the most will win. Money raised from feathers sold will be donated to the Knox Prairie Community Kitchen.
Weather Conditions – Our cold weather is not far off and we would like to remind all parents/guardians to dress their children as warmly as possible prior to leaving for school. Even though some students have a ride to school, they do spend a considerable amount of time outdoors on the playground, especially during the noon hour.
Lost & Found - The lost & found is located near the office. It is already overflowing with coats, sweatshirts, lunchboxes, ect. Please make sure to stop by the lost & found and check to see if anything belongs to your son/daughter.
Cold & Flu Season – Cold & flu season is right around the corner. Please help educate your children that they need to wash their hands frequently. Rub them together for 20 seconds. Make sure to rub the wrists, between fingers and under the fingernails. Rinse your hands thoroughly and dry with a clean paper towel or air dryer. Handwashing is the #1 way to help prevent catching a cold or the flu.
